. The total area of the lake is 893 ha, length of 10.3 kilometers, maximum width of 2.2 km in the Wolf Valley – nun and a circumference of 28 km.
Maximum depth of water near the dam is 155m high 166m curved, with a length of 307m crown, and water volume is 465 million cubic meters.Normal retention level is 830.00 m above sea level.
For this achievement, it took 42 km of underground tunnels were excavated from 1.768 million m3 of rock, of which about 1 million underground were 930,000 m3 of concrete poured in the 400,000 m3 underground well
were installed 6300 tonnes of electromechanical equipment.
On completion it was located, measured in height, about 8th place in Europe and ranks 20th in the world.
The lake Vidraru offers plenty of opportunities to make a nice vacation, especially through the activities which it manages to deliver.
